For the foreseeable future due to COVID-19, Knox College is issuing only outdoor engagement/wedding photography permits. This includes the cloister, courtyards, and building façade.
Engagement/wedding photography permits are only issued when the premises are available on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays. Knox permits only one permit per time two-hour time slot with a maximum total of 10 people on the premises. The cost for an outdoor engagement/wedding photo permit for 2020 is $400 (HST included) per two-hour flat time block. An increase in the cost of the permit is anticipated in 2021.
Washrooms are inaccessible during the shoot.
The use of drones for photography and/or videotaping is strictly prohibited.
The booking of your engagement/wedding photos at Knox College is based on no restrictions placed on Knox College by Federal, Provincial, or Municipal governments related to COVID-19 emergency directives.

The Knox College Chapel is available for weddings on Friday afternoons and Saturdays almost every week of the year.
View the info package to learn more about holding your wedding in the Knox College Chapel; then complete an application form. Each application must go through an approval process.
Knox College has several rooms and a Dining Hall available to host small gatherings, meetings, or lectures throughout the year. Our Dining Hall has the capacity to hold 120 guests for a larger conference. Knox College can also provide for a smaller, more intimate setting for 10 to 20 guests in one of our specialized rooms, such as our Board Room or KNOXFRA Common Room. Contact the Assistant to the Manager of Facilities to learn more.
Knox College is available as a filming venue weekdays from mid-May until mid-August and will consider weekend film shoots (including Fridays) during the academic year (September to April). Please contact the Manager of Facilities to check availability of dates and times and to discuss fees.
If you require food services for your conference or meeting, Knox can provide a list of possible caterers. For questions regarding rentals or food services, please contact the Assistant to the Manager of Facilities.
