Employment opportunity: Professor of Pastoral Theology
Knox College announces an opening in Pastoral Theology.
Expertise is required in one or more of the following teaching areas, and competence is required in the others: theology of pastoral psychology, spiritual care and psychotherapy, pastoral counselling. This tenure stream or tenured appointment is open rank: appointment will be made at a rank commensurate with qualifications and experience. A required qualification is an earned Ph.D./Th.D. in an area at the intersection of pastoral theology and psychology or psychotherapy. Qualifications appropriate for membership in the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care and/or the College of Registered Psychotherapists in Ontario are an asset. The successful candidate will possess an excellent record of scholarship and teaching or promise of such. Lay membership, designation, or ordination, or eligibility for designation to Diaconal Ministry or ordination to Ministry of Word and Sacraments in The Presbyterian Church in Canada is preferred.
