The Charles H. MacDonald Memorial Lecture at Knox College
Wednesday, November 8, 2017, 1:30 – 4:30 p.m.
The Rev. Dr. Margaret Mullin, B.Sc.N., M.Div., D.D.
Executive Director, Winnipeg Inner City Missions
Dr. Mullin will speak out of her experience and expertise on the continuing journey of healing and reconciliation between settlers and indigenous peoples. She has been working in the inner city since 1999 and has received a Woman of Distinction award for her work in inner city Winnipeg. Margaret is an ordained minister of The Presbyterian Church in Canada as well as a trained nurse. Ojibwe and Irish/Scottish in origin, she follows both Christian and Aboriginal Traditional Spiritual ways. The lecture will be followed by a panel discussion and reception. We will also dedicate a framed copy of the PCC Confession and an acknowledgment of the land on which Knox sits; both will be posted permanently at Knox.
