The following obituary appears on the Toronto Star Obituaries website:
Lorna Elizabeth Prideaux (nee Patterson) passed away peacefully, at home, on July 4, 2024, just a few days following her 80th birthday. She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Brian; and will be greatly missed by her children and their families: Kimberly, Alana and Joseph, Pamela, Christopher, Barbara and Francis, Jonathan and Melissa. Lorna was born in Montreal and worked tirelessly as an administrative assistant through the Toronto School of Theology and Knox College. When her hands weren’t full taking care of the children she loved so much, she would occupy her time doing crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, reading, baking, or sewing, often while listening to CBC radio or watching crime dramas. She was deeply devoted to a number of charities, but especially a number of groups through the church. As such, the family encourages those who wish to make donations do so by donating to the Church of St. Jude, Wexford. The family will receive friends at the Ogden Funeral Home (4164 Sheppard Avenue East), on Wednesday, July 10th, from 4-8 p.m., with a service to be held at the Church of St. Jude, Wexford, on Thursday, July 11th, at 11 a.m.
