Eser Kim is a practical theologian specializing in faith formation and development, agency, and the development of professional identity in theological education. Her scholarship is shaped by intercultural experience and a commitment to integrative formation. She currently teaches human growth, dying across cultures, and psychotherapeutic theories for spiritual care.

As an ordained pastor, she served several churches as a youth minister, international relations director, and the head of the English Ministry Education department. She has a passion for youth ministry and loves to work with global partners to deepen an intercultural ecumenical dialogue that goes beyond short-term mission work.
