Campbell Taylor passes away; Knox College expresses condolences
The Rev. R. Campbell (Cam) Taylor, 1965 Knox MDiv, passed away June 8, 2022. Principal John Vissers said, “Cam was a good friend and a faithful minister of the Gospel. On behalf of Knox College, I express our deepest condolences to the family.”

Cam Taylor passed away peacefully at Trillium Health, Mississauga, while in recovery following surgery. Beloved husband of Sandra (nee MacPherson), loving father of David (Dani) and the late Donald (2012), and proud grandpa of Jack. He will be greatly missed by his sister June (Richard), his nephews, their partners, and great niece and nephews. Cam was a loving stepfather, step-grandfather, and step-great-grandfather.
Born in Toronto, Cam attended Humberside Collegiate Institute and graduated from the University of Toronto, Victoria College, and Knox College. Cam found strength in helping others while serving as pastor and preacher. He lovingly served many decades as a Presbyterian minister, both in Manitoba and Ontario, retiring from Mimico Presbyterian Church in Toronto in 2000, after which he enjoyed guest preaching at the church near their cottage in Vankoughnet.
