Bob Anderson passes away; Knox College expresses condolences
Bob Anderson passed away on Saturday October 7, 2023. He was a 1953 Master of Divinity and 1992 Doctor of Divinity graduate of Knox College.

Robert Kneen “Bob” Anderson passed away on Saturday October 7, 2023 at Sakura House, Woodstock, in his 100th year.
Beloved husband of Priscilla (Archibald) Anderson who were married on May 22, 1953. Dear father of the late James Robert “Browne” Anderson (2023), Deborah & husband Kazunari Takahashi of Kamakura, Japan, Jennifer Tyrrell of Port Rowan, Nori Anderson & husband Tim Regan of Toronto. He will be sadly missed by 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his sister Edith “DeeDee” Zowdu, and by brother Fred Anderson.
Bob originated from Saskatchewan, and met his wife of 70 years in Toronto. They ministered together in Whitehorse, Yukon, Islington, Ontario, and Truro, Nova Scotia, before being called as missionaries to Korean Christian Church in Japan for 16 years. Bob’s heart for Koreans moved him to author two books. Bob was a scholar, world traveler, a Pastor, a Principal, and wore many hats. He served as Pastor at Wexford for 9 years but mostly he was a family man and always had a positive word and a hug for all.
A Memorial Funeral Service was held on Saturday October 14, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in Wexford Presbyterian Church, 7 Elinor Ave., Scarborough, ON. M1R 3H1. Celebration of Life will take place at the Villages of Long Point Bay at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Jeffrey W. Glendinning Funeral Home, 36 Front St. Port Rowan, ON.
